Odesa National Medical University - one of the leading medical universities of accreditation level IV - was founded in 1900. It is a member of the International and European Association of Universities. As a result, the level of training of students and teaching specialists is close to world standards. Today, around 10,000 students and cadets study in seven faculties and 66 departments of the university. The university has a modern material and technical base for educational, scientific and medical diagnostic work. It promotes the introduction into the educational process and medical practice of the latest advances in medical science, in particular endoscopic, laparoscopic, transplantology, tissue therapy, genetic medicine and others. In recent years, the university's unique scientific and medical units have been established: its own dental and multidisciplinary university clinics, molecular and cellular medicine research institutes, clinical biophysics research institute. Medical and diagnostic centers created in cooperation with health authorities – cardio-rheumatology, eye microsurgery, osteosynthesis, endoscopic and laser surgery, pediatric cardiology, toxicology, etc. – successfully operates. Language of instruction is Russian and English.
